Here's a great new book about synchronicity/coincidence and dreams: The "ONLY" Three Things.
The author is Robert Moss, who has written other very good books about dreams.
The title comes from people's tendency to say things like: "Oh, it was ONLY a dream", or "It was ONLY a coincidence", or "It was ONLY my imagination."
These three "ONLY" things are very important!

Met Robert at the ASD conference in Washington DC back in 2000, very personable and charismatic. Took a mini-workshop alot of fun. As a recorder of my dreams since 1976 I've had many precog and other odd experiences. Also gave a presentation at the 2000 conference about the use of plants to assist in dreaming. ejw1951: This morning I checked this message board for the first time in several months. I followed the link to your paper. Thank you!! How very interesting to read of your experiences........and synchronistic, for me, as I've recently been photographing wildflowers near my home, including a couple "wort" ones!
Precog dreams have been part of my life off and on for several years now. I'm completely intrigued by what the possible mechanism for these types of dreams could be. Mine seem to occur right before I wake in the morning.......that seems to be some sort of window of opportunity for precognitive information to get through.
Last Sunday morning in a dreamscene I was in a grain elevator standing next to a gurney on which lay a person whose head was encased in cement......it was like I had to provide comfort to the person. In real life, later that afternoon, an acquaintance was involved in a serious car accident, which involved a helicopter ("elevator"?) ride to the hospital and a head/neck brace on. The person's first name means "solid, enduring" (cement?), and a family member of mine has spent time providing comfort to the injured person.
I've had several other precog dreams involving accidents and deaths.......emotionally-charged events. I think that's what is required........strong emotions, and they somehow announce themselves ahead of time to someone who happens to be in a sensitive state for reception.
Maybe you know how it is, but I can't really talk about this matter to very many people.......they just think I'm weird. I don't feel precognitive dreams are "weird".......they simply "are".
