It was my first year back at the University of Tulsa after a small break called the Viet Nam War. I was hanging between classes when a familiar face sat down on the steps next to me. She said "I know you." and I replied yes I'm sure I know you too, but I can't recall from where. We spent the next several minutes trying to solve where we had met before. It turned out that we had no background in common. In all likelyhood this was our first meeting. I never saw her again.

Those sorts of experiences can be just as unsettling and curious as when you discover that someone you don't know turns out to be someone that you ought to know because of close associations. You just reminded me of one of those kind that happened to me in Perth (Australia) years ago. I've posted it in this Weird Stuff section. Thanks for posting and sparking my brain, Lemony.
