I had this dream about a fellow blogger who is moving from Philadelphia to New Orleans. In the dream I was sitting with him, helping him pack (not a likely scenario since I live in Darwin, Australia and he is in the US). He was obsessing over whether to take this particular red sweater he owned that was made from a warm material. I was trying to convince him to take it, but he wasn't sure. He thought it would be too hot to take to New Orleans/ I told him about it, and he replied that he had indeed that week been packing clothes and was obsessing over this old read sweater made from thermal material, and whether he should take it. He decided not to, after about an hour of worrying about it. He decided that it was going to be too hot to wear in New Orleans. Spooky.

Oooooh, that's a goodie, DB! You musta had a spooky feeling when u found out. You've also reminded me of a weird dream I had many years ago that I will post here soon.
Aren't we Aussies good at adjusting our idiom for a world readership? LOL I note you wrote 'sweater' and not 'jumper', for our American readers.

Yeah, I have learned that i need to speak and type "American" when dealing with my US friends. They understand nothing that I am saying if i speak 'Strayan, but if I use idiom from their world, they get it! lol

lol hi! im new... creepy "coincidence" there. my mom used to do that all the time.. her dreams would be a little off though.. for example once she dreamed that a friend of hers who she hadnt seen for a long time got pregnant and gave birth to kittens. turned out the lady had a baby that week and so did our cat. wierd. anyway.. had you written "jumper" instead of "sweater" i would have never guessed you were talking about a sweater. (im american if you haven't guessed.) so why is it that you can speak in american talk.. but americans have no idea what you are talking about if you speak with your own dialect? is there a good explanation or is it just cuz americans sometimes seem to live in their own little bubble?
