night before last i dreamed that i was enjoying my time on a beach... when i suddenly noticed the water rising so i was frantically trying to find my way off the beach before the sea swallowed me. there were many obstacles and i only had seconds to escape. i found myself having to climb a fence to cross over to safer ground and just barely made it before the water came crashing in. i was relieved only to go home and find everyone weeping because they couldnt find a relative and feared he was dead. ... i have not been stressed lately and cannot figure out why i would have dreamed this.... but the next morning .. yesterday when i checked the news on my msn...was the first i had heard of th :(e tsunami that hit sri lanka and that area. it really freaked me out cuz i remember thinking.. why did i dream that ? it seemed to have nothing to do with my current emotions or life so it didnt make sense. but it was so vivid. anyone think i might have been picking up on the vibes from all the people there that are experiencing this catastrophe? my heart goes out to the families. has anyone else picked up any vibes from this ?

I had a similar event the night before the tsunami hit. I did actually dream of that particular event, but I woke up and saw lots of eyes looking at me, a dragon, bright colors, it was a quiet and disturbing dream. I had the same sort of dream just be 9/11. So when things trouble me, I say a quiet prayer for protection.

I'm trying to get my head around this ... you posted on December 30 and said you had the dream "the night before last", which would make it the 28th, wouldn't it? The tsunami was on December 26. Am I misreading something here? Still, I take your point that you hadn't heard about the tsunami at the time of your dream, but I wonder if while you were sleeping the TV or radio were on. Whatever the situation, it must have been very unsettling for you.
