Hello,
I just found this site, and was tremendously excited, because I've had a lot of experience with synchronicity.
One of the most persistent is with numbers. A few people have said that I'm just paying attention and looking for it, but that's not exactly true. I started paying attention once it popped up everywhere. It's the number 334. The instances where I see this number are too numerous to name, but I'm going to start keeping a log.
Another recent weirdness involved a trip to Ireland and a favorite writer. My husband and I spent 8 days in Belfast during our honeymoon, which is the hometown of Robert Mcliam Wilson, a writer I'd recently gotten into.
He and I spent a lot of time wandering around the city, and found ourselves in a quiet, scenic neighborhood. We found a cat sitting in front of a hedge, and the cat was so tame and relaxed that we marvelled at it, and my husband took a picture of me petting it.
So, about a month ago, I was a bit bored and going through the net, looking for random information, and I typed in the writer's name. I found a website written from the point of view of his cat. So, feeling a little odd already, I pulled up the website and watched the cat's picture load. Yes, it was the same cat, sitting in front of the same hedge. I signed the guestbook with this story, offering to scan my picture and send it to them. The webmistress replied immediately, wanting to see the picture, so I sent it to her the next day. She was taken aback, not only by it being the same cat, but by the fact that she and I look so much alike, her husband thought the picture was of her. We've been corresponding here and there since then.
